Thode Invest AS invests in real estate and shares in other real estate companies. Real estate development, as well as the purchase and sale of real estate, are priority activities for us.
Thode Invest AS originates in the village of Ersfjordbotn outside Tromsø, northern Norway. The company was founded in 2017, but has a history far back in time.
Lorentz Thode Johansen (born 1829) bought the north side of theErsfjordbotn later in the 19th century. His son Ingvard Lorentzen established the company Ingvard Lorentzen`s Eftf in 1896. His descendants continued to buy and sell real estate, as well as run businesses in several fields, such as agriculture, fishing and trade. Sober operation with a focus on the development of the surrounding areas, maintenance of the building stock and the environment, has always been an important factor for the operation. Today, five generations later, the philosophy lives on through, among others, Thode Invest AS.
